IUCAA - ISSAA 2021
IUCAA - Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics
ISSAA (Introductory Summer School in Astronomy and Astrophysics) - 2021
ISSAA is organised by IUCAA Pune every year. It is obvious that this summer school is very helpful for those people who want to pursue research in various areas of Astronomy and Astrophysics. But I must say that this school is also beneficial to those undergrads who are interested in other branches of physics or those who are not able to decide what field to jump in for having an early stage research experience. This school provide them opportunity to explore and decide at least 'Astro' is meant for them or not. I must say from the point of view of learning that all areas of physics are interconnected. So whatever be your area of interest you should explore everything and then decide wisely. I hope this answers your major doubts.
In this page you can find some of the lecture-slides form IUCAA-ISSAA 2021, which held in online mode from May 10 to June 11. Some professors were helpful enough to provide their lecture-notes and some other references.
I am putting these lectures on my webpage so that interested people can access these lectures. Though youtube video-lectures are publicly available whose link is available at the end of this page.
Lecture-Slides
1) Radiative Processes by Dr. Dipanjan Mukherjee (IUCAA Pune)
2) Stellar Structure and Evolution by Dr. Dipankar Bhattacharya (IUCAA Pune)
3) Cosmology by Dr. Surhud More (IUCAA Pune)
4) Compact Stars - Lecture 1 by Debarati Chatterjee (IUCAA Pune)
5) Compact Stars - Lecture 2 by Debarati Chatterjee (IUCAA Pune)
6) Fluids and Plasma Physics by Nishant K. Singh (IUCAA Pune)

Conclusion:
Apart from lectures we did various activities and at the end of the summer school we had a virtual photograph session. I must thank to all the professors for the fruitful experience and support. We had a good interaction with faculties but it would have been great if pandemic situations were not there. Anyways I learnt something that is the most important thing to me.
